This is Kelvin Munson's modified 1964 Royal Enfield 250.
It started life as a Crusader Sports but when he purchased it in 1973 it had been modified, during the 60s,
through the addition of aftermarket Continental GT style GRP Tank, Seat and Battery Cover, plus John Tickle
Kelvin used it for his daily commute to college for several years.
In 1990 the bike was stripped and rebuilt, including the addition of 18" wheels and Continental GT front
hub; and raced for 2 seasons in CRMC classic racing events at Brands Hatch, Snetterton, Mallory
Park and Cadwell.
It is currently undergoing work to put it back on the road, including replacement of the GRP fuel tank with a new
aluminium copy, due to ethanol destroying the original.
